Dr Michael Simon received his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv. He subsequently completed his Internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. He underwent additional training at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey in Diagnostic Radiology where he also served as the Chief Resident.
Michael has presented and published research at numerous conferences and journals and is a reviewer for the Journal – Radiology Case Reports. He also received the Roentgen research Award in 2021. Dr Simon brings strong leadership and a robust Medical and Medical Business knowledge to our company. As our new Chief Medical Officer we look forward to him assisting us in growing the business to its fullest potential.
Dr. Jerry Frenkel MD was born in Brooklyn, raised in Rockland County and currently living in Long Island, Dr. Jerry Frenkel has always maintained a strong New York connection and presence. His professional and academic career started while attending Touro College of Arts and Sciences in Brooklyn, NY where his passion was always his love for the sciences earning him the excellence in Biology Award at his undergraduate commencement. After graduating with his Bachelors in Biology, he went on to pursue his dream of becoming a medical doctor at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. During his undergraduate training, and medical training, he spent many hours in the exhilarating and stimulating environment of the Emergency Department and found his calling; to become an Emergency Medicine Physician.
He proceeded to do his Emergency Medicine Residency at New York Presbyterian Queens where his strong work ethic, easy disposition and clever intellect earned him the prestigious title of Chief Resident. Loving patient centered care, medical education and clinical ultrasound; he completed a fellowship in Clinical Ultrasound at New York Presbyterian Queens and is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography.
Dr Frenkel currently holds the positions of Attending Physician and Administrative Director of Emergency Ultrasound at New York Presbyterian Queens; as well as Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College.
